Based on the 3-D room planner engine "myLoft" by Farbflash, this is an adaption to design custom exhibitions for children. It is a coproduction with mediamachine/Mainz for the Landesmuseum Mainz. It enables the user to build their own exhibition with artwork from the Landesmuseum Mainz or even the own images, which can also be uploaded and incorporatet. Each exhibition is saved to the server and visitors can 'walk' and watch through an 'endless' exhibition. Each user can design her/his own exhibition easily and save it online and offline for later changes. Thus it can be modified as often as the user wants and will grow over the time. Toggle floatable state of Director panels

While messing with the OI I found out, that you can change the floating madness of directors tool windows. Maybe this is not news to everyone, since it should be possible since 4 years, but just in case it may interest:
It is actually only a simple boolean value in directors prefs.
I am now on another machine and I can see, that the values are different. I've written a small shell script now, which should care of these issues. Please be aware of the fact, that setting the panels to non floating may cause unexpected results.
especially in conjunction with grouping the panels it may lead to errors. I suspect for more proper implementation one would need to investigate further, if there are settings which windows can be grouped with which windows (I think so...) anyway download and unstuff the shell script with:
then change the permissions with
curl [farbflash.de] | ditto -x - toggleDirectorPanels ; cd toggleDirectorPanels ; cat Readme.txt
and execute the script with:
chmod 755 toggleDirectorPanels.sh
or
./toggleDirectorPanels.sh "Object Inspector"

Please note, that this is not anymore necessary when using Director 11. There is now an option in the upper right "Panel group menu" to toggle the float state of every window.

There is now a new "self-installing" LDM with the latest version of the scripts for the table, menu and dialog.
One single behavior to build a table at runtime in a single bitmap sprite, with text-, image- and editable text cells. 07/03/06
I've put a new version online today.
I've cleaned up a lot the last few days and fixed another bunch of bugs and quirks.
Next thing to do are new tutorial movies and new demos. (they are very old already... :-(

I transferred further development of the tool to an open source trac project, where you can always find the most recent version in trunk. see this blog post for further infos. After creating an account (I need that to keep spam robots away) you can go to the subversion repository -> "Browse Source" and checkout trunk as single zip file by directing your browser to [farbflash.org] and clicking on "Download in other formats: Zip Archive" at the bottom of the page
