.. things are changed in these very last days though, now there is a setup_mb64 file that includes main.asm which has been moved in a source folder, new structure, i ve written to un.diletante in the spanish forum, better getting used to the new system. -

Yeah you are right... use "16,0" instead for the DOUT table. Or, if you don't have any DOUT modules at all (no 74HC595) then any SR >= 1 would do. -

Alternative to Front Panel Designer?

I've attempted to use Front panel designer however I find it very difficult to do any measuring and lining up of parts.
Are there any alternatives (preferably free) to FPD? I have some CAD background from university in AutoCad applications.

Okay, but DIN and DOUT can just have 0,0?
One issue is that I'm using J5 as a DOUT, so I guess IT can't have a 0,0 to represent a null address, because 0,0 is the first pin of J5. -

jo das geht so. Wie gesagt, die ID der IIC Module ist unabhängig von denen des COre Modules.
Du kannst aber auch noch die change_id Applikation (unter downloads) benutzen um die ID nachträglich zu ändern.
Das ist dann sinnvoll wenn du mehrere Midiboxen... -

Can someone explain the encoder table to me? It does not appear to have any significant definitions aside from the comment at the end of the line.
DIN and DOUT both have table fields that define individual functions, so I can move them around and delet... -

The change_id_v_d.zip already comes with precompiled .hex files. Since you only have one core you want to upload "device_id_.hex". Then upload the SID software again.

1) You can upload a new hex file via midi to be sure
2) Why is it ID6? To use the change_id app, you just set the ID in the asm file. There are comments in there explaining the use of the app. I'll give you a hand if you get stuck of course

Firstly, if you're controlling tracks on a DAW, you might consider the MidiBox LC application. The app also does Mackie Control Universal, which is supported by pretty much every DAW. (well, all the major ones...)

Getting normal V/Oct CV response for cutoff is quite simple, although more than only a few resistors is needed. That's also because the input pin of the SSM is "wrong way round", i.e. -100mV will open the filter, +100mV will close it. On all newer Midi... -

I've used it on seven MB-6582 front panels (five from Front Panel Express, two from Altitude's bulk order) with 100% success.

If you set your fbv custom channel to 16 you should see the appropriate text for your hd147

I get it but still i dont see how you couldn't change and LFO for instance with just buttons because you couldn't change it at just the speed you wanted but get close.. oh well

you also mite want to consider drawing out your desired mixer on paper. this will solve a lot of the questions on how much parts you will need which will lead you to decide which midibox is right for you. -

yeah I just checked the lcd module on an old core module that I know it used to work with and it doensn't. This means the cable or the module has been damaged.

I have a smashtv core module with the latest bootloader and MB64 loaded onto it. The MIOS studio is showing a steady stream of sysex messages received so I assume the board is operating.

Finaly writing the fuse bit work using HP P3 pc. But the output sound litle bit noisy. I think its my power suply problem. I'll find new good power supply after my mb swindsid frontpanel finished...
