1) 64E now supports analog inputs (pots/faders) too, but I gather that the 64 has more complete support for them. 64 doesn't support encoders at all, so if you want to use them, you're making a 64E

This all came down to wiring problems. We tracked them down and fixed them up, and the box became responsive, and then foona uploaded a change using serge's editor.... Which killed the bootloader on the PIC: There's a note on ... -

OK ! the AIN has stopped going crazy in ain64_din128_dout128 app. i did not ground the Vd pin.
the SID pcb is disconnected.
But, still nothing from the DIN. this is a bit insane.
i must have a fried IC on the din !
but none work..

Hello PrairieOrganGuy - If you have 2 organ keyboards, that will be 64 * 2 = 128 inputs. Each DIN board accomodates 32 inputs, so you will need four of these not five. Note also that you can only daisy chain a maximum of four input boards to each cor... -

The first thing i tried now was connecting the midi out of the PC with Serge's running on it,
to my D.A.W PC.
I then loaded the MIDI monitor from my SFP application.

Check your fuse bits configuration to enable external clock source - AVR have to run with 24MHz. SwinSID plays short 1KHz test tone during startup, when the frequency is lower then your clock frequency is wrong. Are you using TDA1543, not TDA1543A? (TD... -

One thing at a time
If the AINs are ungrounded the PIC goes nuts trying to process the constant changes it sees in the AIN pins....
But regardless you should always fix one thing at a time. See the GROT in my signature

For test I've set my midio on 8 different channels; I can say now that a CC123 of any value stops all notes on all channels. Not tested on 16 channels though but it must work as well
