Video-matic interactive VJ installation.

In 2003, media artist Olga Mink asked me to develop an interactive VJ installation for a new public building, to be built in the dutch city Sint Oetenrode. Part of building is made out large angled glass panes, and the glass pane at the entrance is used as a projection surface.

Inside the building visitors can interact with a touchscreen mounted into a wall, and make compositions with Olga’s video loops. They can see them projected onto the glass in real time. There is also a website where people on the internet can do the same. The submissions from the internet are stored in a database and shown on the building when nobody is interacting with the touchscreen.

Technologies used:
Director, Flash, Quicktime, PHP, MySQL
